  • Forward Market Pricing (FMP)
    Provides visualisation of daily prices of each selected brand for the next 12 months to help understand market pricing and positioning. FMP data can be user-defined by brand(s), location(s), vehicle category(s), pick-up date range and length of rental(s).
  • Historical Market Pricing (HMP)
    Provides visualisation of historical daily price build for a select few, pre-defined future pick-up dates to help understand competitor price behaviour. HMP data can be user-defined by brand(s), location(s), vehicle category(s), pick-up date range and length of rental(s).

  • International flight search and bookings, primarily from the UK and Europe, have strengthened over the past seven (7) days for the travel period of November 2021 to April 2022. It is important to note, because of Covid, the seasonal market trends have shifted. With border restrictions being removed and vaccine passports in place, international travellers are taking advantage of travel opportunities. This means iconic tourist destinations, especially those which have attractions all year around such as Iceland with the Northern Lights, skiing, glaciers, Christmas festivities, and of course the Golden Circle tour, remain popular with international tourists.
    • INSIDER TIP: Do not set and forget. Actively monitor your forward booking demand, competitor pricing, and other relevant data sources, such as flight demand. Check your current pricing accurately reflects your demand, thus ensuring your prices are not too high (which could turn away early bookings), nor are too low (which could mean you sell out)
  • Most operators in the market are changing their prices frequently, but there are a few, such as Black Sheep, who have static prices, even in periods of anticipated high demand.
